Senior Salute: #32 – Zach Bolf
– October 2nd, 2019
We are 4-weeks out from the start of the 2019-2020 basketball season and the 1st official practice (October 30th). The Spartan Hoops basketball program will be spotlighting and celebrating it’s 7-senior members each week leading up to the start of the season.
Week 5 of our Senior Salutes, we would like to introduce you SR – Zach Bolf. Zach is the son of Joseph and Kelly Bolf of Fort Worth, TX and is a young man that has been a 4-Year Varsity Letterman for Centennial High School. Contrary to his menacing style of play and his strong physique, Zach is a hooper through and through having never put on the pads his entire time in high school.
Zach has been the most consistent in his approach to the game of basketball amongst the members of this senior crop. He is aggressive, physical and very defensive minded in his approach to the game.
This last season saw Zach earn his 2nd consecutive 1st Team All District and All Johnson County teams, while getting runner-up Defensive Player of the Year in District 5-5A. Zach, was named to the All-Tournament team at the Birdville Lions Club Tournament where he broke the single season school record for rebounds in a single game of 20-rebounds versus Dallas Molina. It is this commitment and that level of toughness that has garnered Zach some much deserved attention from the likes of several universities vying for his services.
We anxiously await the season and step into every gym with the confidence of 10 lions knowing that Zach is leading the charge and anchoring our defense.
